Leonard and Trilbe’s 50th Wedding Anniversary Party

On November 22, 2006, my parents celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. 50 years!?! My brothers, their wives, and I threw a 50th anniversary party for them at our house. We had 66 people over the course of 4 hours on Sunday, 11/19 for quite a party! Thankfully, the weather held out, and it was sunny and nearly warm outside. So, people wandered between the kitchen, family room, living room, and backyard. Thanksgiving in Pennsylvania

Over Thanksgiving weekend, Heather and I made short but very fun trip back to PA to visit my family. We were pleasantly surprised at how easy our trip was at the airport. We didn’t encounter any long lines at security and the airports didn’t seem busy at all. We were also very fortunate to have a perfect weekend of weather in PA, sunny and in the high 50’s…very unusual for Thanksgiving weekend. Harvest Fest at the Fortunati’s

Our family is so busy that we can only get together (ALL of us) once every 3 months. So, for the fall gathering, we met at Dean and Christina’s in Antelope for what we’ve called the “Harvest Fest.” We had fancy shmancy appetizers, really good soup and salads, and then ventured out to the neighborhood pumpkin farm.
