A new phase

The boys go through a lot of phases. Sometimes they are very noticeable, other time more subtle. The latest phase is the bike riding phase. They ride several times a day EVERYDAY. I can do it myself!!

This past weekend we took the boys with their bikes to a local trail. Ryan still had his training wheels on and Kevin didn’t.  While riding down the trail Ryan decided it would be fun to race a guy running on the trail. Racing side by side, the guy look over at Ryan and said “you look like your ready to take those training wheels off”.  Evidently those words really sunk in. Breaking Away (revisited)

A little over 3 months ago I posted about Kevin’s training wheels coming off in this post.  Since that time, Kevin hasn’t spent much time on the bike. We’ve been busy travelling, moving back to California and starting kindergarten. Last week he asked if he could try taking the training wheels off his bike again.  Since that day he has not stopped biking! He asks to bike everywhere.
