Regent’s Canal Run

Here is a little map of the run. This entry is a little tour of London from pictures I took on my long Sunday run. The first stop was Sigmund Freud’s home near Swiss Cottage. He lived here the last year of his life after escaping the Nazi occupation of Vienna. Exploring London on foot

Today after a fun morning at the RAF Museum with Heather and the boys, we came home, put the boys to bed for a nap. As soon as they were in bed I put on my running stuff and decided to try and run all the way into central London. Below is my route. My first race

This past Sunday morning, Dad and I drove over to Los Gatos to run in my first race.  We loaded up the Ironman Bob stroller as well so that Dad could push me in his race.  As soon as we arrived I realized I hadn’t eaten enough for breakfast to run a 1K “fun” run, so I proceeded to eat almost all my snacks while Dad registered me for the race.  After eating a piece of sourdough break, a cheese stick, 2 packages of Nemo fruit snacks and a granola bar I was ready to race!!!
