April Whirlwind

April was an extremely busy month at our house and I anticipate this may be the normal mode of operation around here for a while. It all started with the sale of our house.  We are relocating a few miles from where we live now for better schools, better neighbourhood and a quieter street. I wish we could just pick up our existing house. Since that’s not possible and we didn’t find exactly what we are looking for we decided to start down the path of building our own home. London Zoo

This week, the boys and I headed out for another London adventure while Mom slaved away at work. :-)  This time I had some help from the boys’ new nanny, Naomi. It was only her second day with us and I had her run 2 miles with me to the zoo with the double jogger and 2 miles back home. I think she’ll fit in just fine! Don’t Wake a Sleeping Baby, Or the Zoo Animals

We’ve been getting that advice a lot lately. There is nothing better (or cuter) than a sleeping baby. We will be finding out shortly. Apparently, that advice applies to the animals at the zoo, too. To avoid thinking about my impending c-section, I went to the San Francisco Zoo with my parents, three nieces, and nephew. It was pretty great! They had everything from lions and tigers and bears (on my!) to prairie dogs and grasshoppers and tarantulas. My only real complaint is that all the big, cool animals were asleep.
